Doug Momary, Owner / Director
Doug’s television career began as the creator and star of the award-winning children’s hit series ‘The New Zoo Revue’. Filmed in Hollywood in the early 70’s, Doug was the sole writer of over 190 episodes and 600 songs which reached over 3 million children every day. Doug and his wife Emily starred in the series singing and dancing along with giant animal characters, teaching children positive messages in an entertaining fashion.
In 1982 Doug moved to Las Vegas and opened Laguna Productions, a full-service film and video production company dedicated to bringing quality commercials and programs to the Vegas area and beyond.
Doug’s specialty is writing and directing and for the past 16 plus years he has directed such prominent actors and politicians as Frank Sinatra, Jay Leno, Burt Bacarach, Dionne Warwick, Smokey Robinson, Rita Rudner, Don Rickles, Paul Anka, The Pointer Sisters, Barbara Mandrell, former president George Bush Sr., Senator Harry Reid, Senator John Ensign, Nevada State Governor Bob Miller, Nevada State Governor Kenny Guinn, Steve and Elaine Wynn, just to name a few.
Some of the major corporations Momary has directed for include CBS, Mandalay Resort Group, Caesars Palace, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Hilton Hotels.
Doug is proud of Laguna’s growth which now includes two HD edit suites, one Avid suite, special effects and 3-D animation, sound stage, camera and lighting equipment and most recently a media-buying division.
